Elliott and I packed up and made the trip to texas for a long weekend.  My good friend Jen Elsner (of Ground Force Jack Russell terriers has moved to Texas.  I miss her and it was so good to have a couple days to catch up.  Then off we both went to the Southwest Terrier Network Fall Festival 2013

We had a great weekend
Elliott won both Hurdle racing and Flat racing both days and Competed in the Veterans Racing Championship and Won both days !
Then he competed in the GTG and Super Earth  We were in line for a LOOONNGG  time and I think he got worn out with anticipation and today got a 3rd in Championship Tunnel GTG (Nothing yesterday) and he was Reserve Champion in Veteran Super Earth BOTH days   He placed First in his Conformation class both days and Was Reserve Veteran Conformation Champion today! Let's just say I was very very happy and Barry was a little suprised and quite happy  Tomorrow we go Hunting !

JRTCA Nationals 2013

Charlie (Kimberlite Buster Brown) and I wet to Maryland for JRTCA Nationals this year. We had a great time and got very very wet!
Had lots of fun met lots of nice new people and had time to visit with old and new friends
The Friday night party was really fun, 50's theme and the Sue and Don Wilson  (of West Elk Terriers)  did a great job decorating
During the dinner I was shocked have my name called during the Annual Awards !
We were so proud as Kimberlite Buster Brown (Charlie) was Reserve High Point for the year in Racing Quite an honor, and we did not attend many trials
Agility in pouring rain is more fun that racing in pouring rain !  I think...

Charlie did great He was a real trooper , found the quarry in trailing and locating
He was 2nd in Hurdle Racing and 4th in Flat racing under dogs !
We even got a 4th in Agility!

He was the Best Under Smooth Dog at Nationals , winning his conformation class! What an honor under Barry Wade's judging

He was a character in GTG and Superearth and , instead of finishing the agility course he went to look for the quarry !  He received ribbons in lots of classes and I had fun seeing old friends and making some new one's as it seems always is one of the highlights of the trials

It was a busy weekend He was a tired boy !

Coyote and Glide's Puppies are here !
